U.R.I. Italian Amateur Radio Union Establishes the GRAN PRIX F1 MONZA Award, to enhance the Italian car race which is one of the classic Formula 1 World Championship races. It takes place on a Sunday in September in Italy. This year will be September 8th and will be at the 90th Edition.
The Autodromo Nazional is that of Monza - Eni Circuit. It is the fifth oldest national Grand Prix after those of France, the United States, Spain and Russia and, since 2013, also the one that took place several times. Only on 5 occasions the Grand Prix took place in other cities: Montichiari (1921), Livorno (1937), Milan (1947), Turin (1948) and Imola (1980
