    II0ICEH - Andrea Doria Award - Italy

    Radio Amateurs from Italy will be active with special call II0ICEH.
    Special award will be available.

    The I.N.O.R.C. "Italian Naval Old Rhythmers Club" organizes the award "Andrea Doria - ICEH" in memory of the tragic shipwreck of the italian liner ship "Andrea Doria" by the swedish ms "Stokholm", which took place between 25th and 26th of July, 1956 near the US coast of Nantucket (Massachusetts).
    ICEH was the radio call sign assigned to the italian ocean liner.


    Participation: open to italian and foreign radio amateurs and SWLs

    Date: from 00:00 UTC on 18 July 2020 to 23:59 UTC on 01 August 2020

    Emission mode: Morse telegraphy only (A1A – F1)

    Frequencies: all HF frequencies as IARU Band Plan

    Score to obtain the award:

    Italian OM / SWL stations 50 points
    European OM / SWL stations 25 points
    Extra-European OM / SWL stations 5 points

    QSO points with the II0ICEH memorial station: 10 points

    QSO points with other stations INORC activating members: 5 points

    The commemorative station II0ICEH and the other stations of INORC can only be connected on the same band 1 time per day.

    Call type:

    a) II0ICEH memorial station: CQ CQ CQ de II0ICEH II0ICEH II0ICEH Award Andrea Doria 10 points

    b) Other member stations activating INORC: CQ CQ CQ de (… CALL ...) Award Andrea Doria 5 points

    Answer type:

    Naval stations in addition to the QSA and QRK will pass their registration number; for example: IN # - RN # - MF # - MI # etc.

    Non-Naval Stations will pass RST and their NAME, QTH, ... ...

    Participating OM / SWL stations do not need to send their QSL cards.
    A special memorial QSL will be sent to all OM / SWL participating.

    How to send the LOG:

    The Naval and Independent stations must send the excerpt of their Log in Excel format with the QSO data: (date, time UTC, QRG, call of the corresponding station, etc.) to the Award Manager who will check the QSOs carried out and of the score scored.

    Logs with discrepancies will be placed in "Control Log" and reviewed at the end of the commemoration; if the discrepancy remains, the Log will be deleted.

    LOG sending: awardmanager@inorc.it no later than 20th August, 2020.

    The award will be sent by e-mail in PDF format and the operator can print it himself.
