    RULES MALIOBORO AWARD

    I. INTRODUCTION
    In the ORARI National Activity and ORARI 52nd Anniversary, ORARI DAERAH D.I. Yogyakarta
    starting in July 2020 issued an Award called "MALIOBORO AWARD".
    II. BASIC ACTIVITY
    ORARI PUSAT Letter No.B-040 / OP / WKU / VII / 2020 concerning the Implementation of the
    ORARI Award Program
    III. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
    1. Trying different alternative activities besides the usual Special Call / SES.
    2. To explore the potential of Amateur Radio.
    3. Motivating the enthusiasm of ORARI members to comply with the band plan.
    4. Motivate the enthusiasm of ORARI members to be able to master more than 1 mode or
    operate more than 1 band.
    5. So that every operator in the localities in the Yogyakarta Special Region can be directly
    involved in this activity.
    IV. REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN AWARD
    1. Amateurs Radio World Wide, have a legal Amateur Radio License (IAR) and are still valid
    for Amateur Radio Indonesia.
    2. 27 QSOs were confirmed with the Yogyakarta Special Region Radio Amateurs, consisting
    of :
    a. QSO with Radio Amateurs from 4 Local in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, each Local
    5 QSO (total 20 Contacts)
    List of Local ORARI Local Special Region of Yogyakarta :
     Local Yogyakarta
     Local Sleman
     Local Bantul
     Local Kulonprogo
     Local Gunungkidul
    b. 5 QSO with Local Clubstation (YH2UB, YH2UC, YH2UD, YH2UE, YH2UF).
    c. 1 QSO with Clubstation ORDA DIY (YH2UA)
    d. 1 QSO with DPP or ORDA DIY Management.

    3. Minimum QSO consists of 2 Modes (SSB, CW, Digital) and 2 Bands according to the
    Participant's IAR level.
    4. A confirmed QSL can be a QSL Card (physical), QRZ.com, LoTW.
    a. The physical QSL Card can be scanned and sent to the specified email.
    b. QRZ.com and LoTW applicants are required to provide Username and Password.
    V. APPLICATION / CLAIM AWARD
    1. Fill out the form provided and can be downloaded at https://www.ordadiy.id/
    2. The log sheet must be filled in according to the fields provided, such as the CALLSIGN,
    DATE, CLOCK (UTC), FREQUENCY, MODE and DESCRIPTION.
    3. On the claim form, you MUST write the name, CALLSIGN of the applicant, date of
    submission, EMAIL address, and must be SIGNED by the applicant.
    4. FREE Claim Fee.
    5. The application form that has been filled in and signed with a Scan of the QSL Card (if using
    a Physical QSL Card), Username and Password (If using QRZ.Com or LoTW), will be sent to
    the Award Manager to the email address :

    6. In the email subject, fill in the claimant's callsign (Claimer).
    VI. CERTIFICATE / AWARD
    After the application form is received, and its validity and correctness is verified by the Award
    Manager, the Certificate / e-Certificate will be issued and will be sent to the participant's email
    according to the one on the claim form and can be downloaded at:

    VII. CLOSING
    Such is the Technical Guidance (JUKNIS) of the MALIOBORO AWARD organized by ORARI
    DAERAH D.I. Yogyakarta.
