This year 2023, the 60th anniversary of the Flame of Canigó, to celebrate it the Association of Radio Amateurs of Catalonia (ARCAT) with the collaboration of the Federation of Radio Amateurs of Catalonia and Mike Delta Victor Dx Group put in the "ED3FDC-60 anniversary of the Flame of Canigó" diploma is on sale.
The diploma is governed by the following bases: Diploma for radio amateurs and SWL. The activity will be active from June 17 to 24, 2023. To obtain the diploma, a minimum of 4 contacts must be made with the special code ED3FDC. Contacts made on the same day in the same band and in the same mode will be considered duplicates and therefore will not count towards obtaining the diploma.
The management of contacts and obtaining diplomas in pdf will be done automatically, the log query and download of diplomas will be done from the URL https://www.qrz.com/db/ED3FDC/. (Log Query menu).
The SWLs to obtain the diploma must listen to a minimum of 4 QSOs where one of the two stations is ED3FDC, they must send the contact log to the following e-mail: ed3fdc@arcat.info, the log must be in ADIF format and this log must have at least the following fields: Date/Time/Band/Mode/Callsign/RST Sent/RST Received.
Bands and modes: 160m, 80m, 60m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m, 6m, 2m, 70cm, QO-100 and other satellites. AM, FM, CW, SSB, FT4, FT8 , RTTY, ROS, PSK, SSTV
ED3FDC Activators: Those who want to operate ED3FDC must send an e-mail: ed3fdc@arcat.info giving their code and whether they belong to a Radio Club or not. The organization will reply with the guidelines to follow.
