The award is worldwide, open to all Radioamateurs in the world, with the aim of contacting as many ENIGMA Activating Stations as possible.
The official list of the Activating Stations will be published on the website :
www.enigma-reloaded.it .
The only award’s participation categories are OM and SWL, each with an his own ranking.
The requirement to be an “Activating Station” is to be paired with an original Enigma machine, (even if not working). At registration (list published on www.enigma-reloaded.it) each Activating Station is required to declare the name of the museum or cultural institution where the machine is located.
For private collectors or owners, the relevant district or region area will be accepted as an information any additional detail will be appreciated, but not mandatory.
The Activating Stations do not run for the award, but will get a special participation certificate.
For participants as NOT Activating Stations no log is required to be sent: the overall QSO Data Base of the contacted stations will be obtained by merging all logs coming from each Activating Station, and the score of each participant will be calculated from this Data Base.
QSO / HRD RULES
QSOs and HRDs are allowed only the HF bands: 10-12-15-17-20-30-40-60-80-160 meters, using the emission modes Phone (SSB), CW and all admitted digital modes (E.g. : RTTY, FT8,FT4, JT65, JT9, PSK).
Contacts by means of repeaters, trasponders or similar systems are not permitted.
A QSO or HRD is considered as valid only if between an Activating Station and a radio amateur not Activating station, with the exchange of the RS(T) report.
For the entire duration of the award, each Activating Station can be contacted or heard only once per day on the same band and with the same emission mode: any contact or HRD between the same stations on the same day, on the same band and using the same emission mode will be considered as a “DUPE”, and its score will be set to zero.
The following scores will be assigned to each valid (NOT dupe) QSO or HRD:
A) For QRP stations (Power ≤ 5 W): 2 points;
B) For NOT QRP stations (Power > 5 W): 1 point.
MULTIPLIERS: Each contacted or heard Activating station counts as 1 multiplier.
SCORE: The total score P is calculated by multiplying the total number N of valid
QSOs / HRDs by the sum M of all multipliers: P = N ● M
To get a score ranking certificate, a score of at least 10 points must be achieved.
SWL
SWL stations are kindly requested to send their log ( HRD Report), in ADIF format only, to the e – mail address info<at>enigma-reloaded.it
within October, 31.

Each participant will be enabled to check his/her QSO number and ranking score by editing his/her call sign.
For bilateral QSOs, If the minimum required score is reached, the award certificate will be downloadable from the website www.arifidenza.it as a PDF file.
For SWL, the award certificate will be sent directly to their e – mail address.
FINAL REMARKS
Any decisions taken by the A.R.I. Fidenza Award’s Committee, encharged of the judgement on the logs and the relevant score, will be final and unappelable.
Any participant not adhering to the rules stated in this document will be liable to disqualification.
As general ruling system, the common practice, customs and conventions usually adopted within the Amateur Radio Community and Radio competitions hold.
Any information not explicitely stated in this document, as well as any additional information if needed, will be published on the official website www.enigma-reloaded.it.
