On the occasion of the European Football Championship 2024, where the Romanian team is qualified, the certificate will be issued: "HAI ROMANIA" -"EURO 2024".
This can be obtained by all radio amateurs, Romanian or foreign, who make radio connections with the YO3KWJ station between 14.06.2024 - 14.07.2024
The radio station YO3KWJ will be active in the bands 160m, 80m, 60m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m, 6m, 4m, 2m and 70cm, SHF and satellites, in telephony (SSB), telegraphy (CW) and digital modes (all variants, only once!) For the VHF - 2m, UHF & SHF - 70 cm bands, the links will also be in FM.
To obtain the certificate, 10 (ten) radio links with the YO3KWJ station are required. The connection can be repeated on the same day in any working mode: PH, CW & DG (-all digital modes form a single option-) or in different bands. Connections on different days do not matter. In case of a victory of the Romanian team, on the following day the ties count twice. Sponsors can award prizes to participating stations with the maximum number of connections during EURO 2024.
After a few hours after making the QSO, you can check the LOG and after making several QSOs that collect the 10 points, you will be able to download the diploma from the organizer's website address : https://www.hamradio.ro/euro2024/qso.php
The certificate is free and is issued only in electronic format.
