Gerben, PG5M and Johannes, PA5X will be active from Luxembourg, 6 - 9 July 2017 as LX/PG5M and LX/PA5X.
They will operate on 160 - 10m testing equipment for future DX Pedition.

They will use Icom IC - 7300 and K3 transceivers with ACOM and SPE 1,3K amplifiers and 5 Band Hexbeam and vertical antennas.

Dear editor, As a preparation for future DXpeditions, Johannes PA5X (also C91PA) and Gerben PG5M will be testing their two-station setup when operating LX/home call from July 6-9. Operation on 10-160 meters with CW, SSB and JT65. Lots of equipment has been selected which need to be tested in real conditions. A set of BPF’s have been constructed for 9 bands, a pentaplexer will be used in combination with a 5-band Hexbeam and vertical antennas for 30-40-80-(160) meters will be made by using fiber poles of 12, 15 and 18 meters. Radios are IC-7300 and K3 with an ACOM and SPE 1.3K (if delivered in time) amplifier. A certain amount of station automation will also be set up and tested. We are looking forward to work you.
