    W9DXCC - DX Convention - Chicago

    The final day for online registration for the W9DXCC DX Convention and Banquet in suburban Chicago is Sept. 11, although tickets for the Sept. 13-14 gathering at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles can also be purchased at the door. All banquet orders must be placed by Sept. 10.

    The prize kitty has grown to more than 220 prizes valued at more than $16,300. Thanks to our generous sponsors, prizes include top-shelf radios, test equipment, keyers, gift certificates and many more items.

    Sponsored by the Northern Illinois DX Association, W9DXCC will also offer Contest University and DX University on Friday. The daylong session on Saturday will feature speakers, exhibits, QSL card checking and a CW pileup contest, as well as an evening reception and banquet. Additional DX “networking” will be available at a Friday evening hospitality suite sponsored by NIDXA as well as one Saturday night hosted by the Greater Milwaukee DX Association.

    This year’s dinner keynote speaker is Martin Jue, who will talk about the early days of MFJ.
