There are some interesting points and mistakes (my opinion). Im sure mistakes will be corrected soon.
My congratulations to Willy UA9BA win Asia with R8AA.
Of course my congratulations to my friend Jeff VY2ZM Master of 160m really for another victory.
I think Jeff is win more CQ WW 160m Contest than anyone else

    Interesting point/statement from results:
"As in 2015, there were numerous complaints from contesters and others about the use of the spectrum during the contest.
The main problem is the use of 1810 and below during the SSB contest in IARU region 1. We checked the logs for frequency violations, and warning letters were sent to the stations involved. QSOs were also removed if they were made out of the allocated band segments."
Operation below 1810 is problem not only in SSB but also in CW Contest.
Thats anyway not only problem allocation on 160m more complicated really.
In many countries band, power is limited and not only in IARU Region 1 but also in Caribean and other countries and if thats become issue that need to be rule for all others also not just Europeans.

Lets see 2017 results They will be available soon
I dont think freq allocation is job of CC.
Freqs allocation and power is job of local authorities anyway.
With my experience only radio amateurs from Japan following their freq allocation rule
