Over the past week, thanks to the encouragement and technical support
of W3LPL, Frank, I am now QRV on the new FT8 mode. At the moment I
will hold back my comments until I get a little more familiar with the
new digital mode. I plan to operate FT8 (as well as CW and SSB) from
St. Kitts, possibly the first such activity from this DXCC entity, as
V47UR late this month and early next month. K2TQC, Bill, tells me
there is a second spot (14.094 MHz) on 20 meters for FT8 activity, as
sometimes there is so much activity on the primary frequency.
