We were able to put on the monoband antenna today.
This endeavor would not have been possible without the local help.

I will make the first attempts at 40m tonight. The antenna is self-made and was mounted by me and 3 energetic Vietnamese in a roiling heat on the roof today.
I do not know yet how well this antenna will work. I tested them once, at the last HQ-Contest in Switzerland. Unfortunately, the 40m band in Vietnam is only released from 7000 to 7100 kHz.
Thus, regular operation in SSB is a "NO-GO".

I hope to be able to work one or more stations this night in CW at 40m.
