          I finally made contact with Robert a few days ago. Without going into detail, he is safe, well and in good health.

          He will however, be taking a break from Amateur Radio for the time being and isn't responding to email messages. Don't expect him back on air anytime soon but never say never

            ''I have had several credible reports of Robert being QRV again today. Although the Call sign given was 3B9FR and the CW was very like Robert's 'style', at this stage I CANNOT confirm it was Robert.

            Thanks for the reports made to me today, I am trying to ascertain the validity of the activity.

                '' Today I have spoken with Robert who tells me that he is now active again within the hobby on HF.

                For those that are relatively new to the hobby, Robert 3B9FR is a resident of Rodrigues Island (DXCC Entity and IOTA (AF-017). He is mainly a CW Op and he did do the occasional SSB and FT8 modes.

                I am not sure of his intentions at this time and I won't push him too much but needless to say, it is great to have him QRV again and we all want to wish him well.

                QRZ.Com is now up to date so please stop all the Cluster comments and let's welcome Robert back in our Community.''
