Information from JD1BQI:
Hello everyone

This station will be active on 6m EME and Multi-hop ES to NA, EU and to those who need JD1/O for a new one.

My First plan is:
I will be QRV on JD1/O Chichi Jima when the moon conditions are good in in Jun or July 2022.
The equipment will be a 6M8GJ Yagi with elevation and 200W.

Chichi Jima QTH Condition:
There are mountains around, especially the east side and they are close.
In the direction of 100-180degree I cannot use an elevation angle under 50 degrees.

1. In the direction of 40degrees, I can use an elevation angle from 5-10 degrees. (To NA direction)
2. In the direction of 70 degrees, I can use an elevation angle over 20-30 degree. (To EME MR direction)
3. In the direction of 280 degree I can use an elevation angle of 5-10 degrees. (To EME MS direction)
4. In the direction 330 degrees, I can use elevation angle of 5 degrees. (To EU direction)
So, I think EME communications can cover NA,EU,AF and OC in June or July 2022 .

My plan 2;
I will check my JD1/O equipment to see if it will work for EME communications.
I will temporarily set up and try my equipment (6M8GJ and 200w) in Kyoto JAPAN when we have good EME conditions in Oct or Nov 2021 from my home QTH.
If I cannot make any EME QSO’s in Kyoto, I will cancel my first plan.
If I can EME QSO’s in Kyoto, I will move forward with my first plan.
