Dear friends, the IOTA expedition to Isla San Pedro was a big success with a bigger mistake.
We are on the false Isla San Pedro.
We' d make an expedition from SA018 to SA018.
I was so sure that we are right ( the call area and the name is the same) that we all organized and have now abt 2500 QSOs in the log.
The right Isla San Pedro is abt. 3.5 degrees more south.
I apologize to all IOTA hunters for this great mistake, but I can not change this situation.
The call was right and so I can confirm QSOs with two different islands from SA018.
SORRY again and let us waiting for signals from the right Isla San Pedro from SA053.
I think i must look now for a new call sign. I
f anyone would like to have my shirt or the cape...no problem, in 100 years is this a expensive false print in a HAM-auction.
