    We Made It Back!

I'm beyond thrilled to share that our entire team has returned safely from Sacrifice Rock to the mainland! Despite the challenges we faced, everyone's doing great, and all medical concerns have been addressed.

    Operating Highlights

We're still grinning from ear to ear about our operating achievements:

    - 6,668 contacts in just 48 hours with two stations!
    - We primarily worked CW/SSB, but digital modes saved the day when SSB conditions were tough.
    - We managed to complete DXCC and made over 12% of our contacts with North America!

    Log Update

Our log will be available starting tomorrow , and our amazing QSL manager will get those cards processed ASAP!

    What's Next?

We're excited to introduce "DXIndia" - our new group dedicated to activating all Indian IOTAs, including VU4/VU7! We want to give chasers a chance to work rare entities while having a blast operating with us.

    Support Means the World

We're on the lookout for support to upgrade our gear. If you can help with HF radios, amplifiers, band-pass filters, or generators, we'd be forever grateful!

    Next Adventure

Mark your calendars for March! We're planning to activate another IOTA during the CQWPX-SSB contest, focusing on SSB operations. Stay tuned!

    Huge Thanks

We're deeply grateful to our incredible sponsors, donors, and supporters. Your encouragement and feedback mean everything. Please keep 'em coming at sara@vu2rs.com !

Until next time, stay hammy, and keep smiling!

      Sacrifice Rock, India

''Dear IOTA Chasers around the world.

Greetings from the Sacrifice Rock IOTA Team, AU2V.

We are pleased to inform you that our QSL cards are currently being printed and will soon be dispatched to all the donors who generously supported our expedition. We are deeply grateful for their contributions, which made it possible for us to activate this IOTA in such a short time.

In celebration of World Amateur Radio Day on April 18, 2025, we will enable QSO matching on that date. This day marks the centenary of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) and carries the theme "A Century of Connections: Celebrating 100 years of Amateur Radio Innovation, Community and Advocacy."

Exciting News for Amateur Radio Enthusiasts!

We are thrilled to announce that the QSL cards for the highly anticipated activation of Sacrifice Rock, India (IOTA AS-161) - one of the most wanted IOTA entities from India - have arrived from the printer!

A big thank you to all the amateur radio operators who contacted us during the activation, and to those who supported us with generous donations. We are grateful for your enthusiasm and support.

As promised, we will be sending out QSL cards to those who requested them. Please note that the QSL cards will be mailed out on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025.

You can check the log search for AU2V on M0OXO's website to see the details of the activation [1].

And, we have more exciting news! Hopefully, next week we will receive our AU2M callsign for the upcoming Arnala IOTA activation(AS-169). We are eagerly looking forward to this new adventure!

However, we still need some equipment support to make this activation a success. We are seeking donations or sponsorships for band-pass filters and amplifiers. If you can help us with this, please get in touch!

Thank you again for your support, and we look forward to sharing our QSL cards with you!
