K6GDI, Robert M. Perry from Salinas, California, USA became a Silent Key on Valentines Day.
He was 84. Bob, while living in Fresno in 1957, was the first ham to work all continents (WAC) on 6 meters after working Ireland.
He did it on AM. The IARU presented him a trophy after this accomplishment.
