Philip R. Lewis, N2MUN from Lindenhurst, New York, USA passed away 5 March 2020.
He was 72 years old.
Phil was founder of Ham Radio University.
Phil grew up on Long Island, New York and went to the RCA Institute, America’s oldest radio school. He worked for Hazeltine and later BAE Systems in the aerospace industry. He was first licensed in Amateur Radio in 1991 and was part of the Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club.
He was the GSBARC president from 2000-2002. An active DXer and contester, he was also in the YCCC, the Yankee Clipper Contest Club.
