W7GLC, Gary L. Crawford, from Bellingham passed away on 18 July 2017 at the age of 67. He liked DXing, contesting and long ragchews. He was a member of the Whatcom Amateur Radio Society and was a fire chief in his Whatcom County in Washington State. He loved bird watching, dogs, and other animals and also loved motorcycles. He especially loved eagles. Gary started commercial fishing at the age of 14, later working as an animal control officer and firefighter, making chief in 1986. He rode a Goldwing motorcycle from coast to coast in the US twice. As a DXer, Gary had 248 entities.
