VE1RGB, R. Gary Barlett, from Wellington passed away Saturday evening. He was an avid contester and had been part of four Sable Island DXpeditions, including CY0P in 2013 and CY0C in 2014 and providing logistical support for others. He preferred CW, saying several times that he didn't own a microphone.
