Leslie A. Bannon, WF5E from Lewisville, Texas, USA passed away in his sleep on New Year Eve, 31 December 2020.
Leslie was Great DXer.

I was first licensed in 1952 as WN9ZTD shortly was W9ZTD In Indianspolis Indiana
I operated at VP2EE in CQWW in 1968 and PJ0MM
i have held the following calls WN9ZTD, W9ZTD , PJ0MM, PJ0LB, KE5CK, and my current call WF5E
I moved to Midland Tx in 1980.
I worked in Avionics and had my FAA repair Station where I installed radios in general aviation aircraft.
i also ran the ARRL W5 QSL Buro for a few years.
I also ran my outgoing qsl service WF5E DX QSL SERVICE for many years
I retired and move to Plano Tx, in 2014. And I am on the air with a TS 590 SG and a R8 Vertical.
You will find me on FT4 And FT8 modes
Working DX and contests is what I enjoy now
DXCC totals are: Mixed and confirmed 382 and number 1 Honor Roll.
