Saif D. Shahid, S21A from Bangladesh, passed away 22 January 2022.

Saif Shahid is the founder President of BARL (Bangladesh Amateur Radio League). After working hard lobbying and negotiating with govt. officials for more than 12 years, he and the other members of BARL finally were successful in starting amateur radio in Bangladesh. Saif was issued with the first ham call sign of the country.
He had already secured his first call sign G1NWJ while living in the UK.
Presently Saif lives in the USA with his family and has a call sign KF6WJZ.
Other hams in his family are: Mamtaz (wife) - S21J / KF6WJY and Maria (daughter) - S21JA / KF6WJX.
