In May 1915 WW I hit Slovenian territory on banks of Soča River (Isonzo). Fight between two armies last for 888 days. Many historians said that Isonzo front battles are the most furious battles on such small territory (Put “Isonzo front” in your favourite search engine to learn more about that).
Number of casualties on both sides (soldiers and civilians) is not certain. Different sources said somewhere between 1.300.000 and 1.500.000 – killed, wounded, suffering from illnesses, captured, ...
To remember all those and to remind that something like 100 years ago will not happened again, special call signs will be used from June 1st 2015 till October 30th 2017.

This would not be activity with “big gun” stations with long pileups and contest. More or less we are going to visit SOTA summits, WCA castles and fortresses, territories where battles are fought.
