    Information from Bob Ronai, VK4BOB
VI250COOK is a special event callsign granted to Cairns Amateur Radio Club (Cairns, Far North Queensland) for use from 1 May 2020 to 31 August 2020 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Captain James Cook sailing up the east coast of Australia from what is now Sydney to what is now Cooktown in Far North Queensland. This historic trip is being replicated by the Australian Maritime Museum's (https://www.sea.museum/) replica of his ship, the Endeavour (https://www.sea.museum/whats-on/even...-the-endeavour). We will be sharing availability of this distinctive callsign with various other amateur radio clubs as the Endeavour calls into their cities or passes by on its voyage, culminating with the Cairns Amateur Radio Club operating from both Cairns and Cooktown. We will publish the on-air schedule on our QRZ.com page once confirmed.
