On September 11-12, 2021, the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the 10th Regiment of Mounted Rifles took place in Łańcut. Its purpose was to recall and commemorate the history of an outstanding military unit stationed in Łańcut in the years 1921-1939. 10th PSK was a cavalry unit of the Polish Army and the Polish Armed Forces in the West. In 1937, he was the first in Poland to be motorized. During World War II, he fought in the composition of the 10th Cavalry Brigade and the 1st Armored Division commanded by General Stanisław Maczek. He took part in three campaigns - September (1939), French (1940) and Western (1944-1945).
