Radio Amateurs members of the Guisborough and District Amateur Radio Club, GB0ROC will be active using special call sign GB5KCC from Guisborough, England, 1 May - 30 June 2023, celebrating the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. The actual coronation will. take place in Westminster Abbey on the 6th May 2023.

King Charles III, formerly known as The Prince of Wales, became King on the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September 2022.
The Coronation of His Majesty The King will take place on Saturday 6th May, 2023.
The Coronation Ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey, London, and will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
The Ceremony will see His Majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort.
The Coronation will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.
