    RP78SNI - Troitsk - Russia

    RP78SNI Special Memorial station will be active from Troitsk, Chelyabinskaya oblast, Russia, 1 - 9 May 2023, commemorating 78th Anniversary of the Victory in Second World War and in honor of the Nikolay Ivanovitch Stolyarov hero of the Soviet Union.

    He was born in the town of Krichev, Cherikov district, Mogilev province (now the city of Mogilev region). Russian.
    Since childhood he lived in Leningrad. He graduated from grades 7 and the school of the Federal Law. He worked as a ship collector.
    In the Red Army since 1938. In 1940 he graduated from the Chuguev Military Aviation School. In the active army during the Great Patriotic War since the beginning of hostilities.
    During the Battle of Stalingrad, he made 127 sorties, conducted 38 air battles. Personally shot down 6, in the group – 4 more enemy aircraft. Lieutenant Stolyarov's squadron took part in 39 air battles without losing a single aircraft.
    In 1960, he retired to the reserve with the rank of colonel. He lived in the city of Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region.
    He died on August 14, 1985. He was buried in the city of Troitsk.
