Radio Amateurs members of the Miller DX Club will be active using special call signs R120MS and UE40MS from Millerovo, Russia, 21 - 25 May 2025, commemorating Sholokhov Spring 2025.
They will operate on HF Bands.

This year marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of the great writer, Nobel Prize winner in literature M.A.Sholokhov.
The first "Sholokhov Spring" took place on May 24, 1985, on the day of the writer's 80th birthday. Since 1987, the holiday has become an all-Russian holiday, and in 1990 it received international status. More than 100,000 people from all over the world come to Sholokhov Spring, all those who are passionate about the work of the great writer, who are interested in the life, culture, and way of life of the Don Cossacks, and who love true folk art. Famous writers, actors, and public figures are among the guests of the celebration. In 2005, on the 100th anniversary of M.A.Sholokhov, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the Vyoshenskaya village.
As part of cultural events, in tribute to and in memory of the great writer, the MILLER-DX-CLUB, together with the Regional branch of the Union of Amateur Radio Operators of Russia in the Rostov region, with the participation of the HAMLOG.ONLINE portal, have been holding activity days dedicated to this holiday for the twelfth year in a row.
