On January 27 and 28, 2018, the OC4MS station will be activated from the Mateo Salado Monumental Archaeological Complex.
The operation is with two active stations in the HF bands from 80 to 10 meters using CW, SSB, and various digital modes.
The Huaca Mateo Salado is located in the Cercado de Lima, adjacent to the districts of Pueblo Libre and Breña. Due to its extension and monumentality, it is one of the most important archaeological complexes of the capital, being also one of the highest architectural expressions of the Señorío Ychsma (1100 1450 AD) in the lower valley of the Rímac. It was the political and religious headquarters of one of the several nations that made up this manor, being then reoccupied by the Incas who would have built the walled road located there, typical of the coastal network of Qhapaq Ñan.
This activation will have a special QSL which will be valid to apply to the diploma "Archaeological Monuments of Peru"
