It is one of those locators rarely represented on the air. A group of SP operators will activate KO12pd this coming weekend, from Friday August 4, 2017 to Sunday August 6, 2017. The main activity will be on 144 MHz, 70 MHz and 50 MHz, using a memorial call sign SN8NCJ. This is dedicated to the late Andrzej, SP8NCJ, who lived in this area and devoted much of his time to VHF. They will have a shortwave station on the air as well, using 3,5 MHz, 5 MHz and 7 MHz bands. The weather forecast for this weekend is hot with thunderstorms, so this activity may be interrupted.
