This operation features a team of operators, all in their late teens and early twenties, who bring energy to DXpedition activities. The group has been planning this operation for many months, coordinating equipment, antennas, and logistics for a memorable and fun operation for both the team and the stations they work.
The timing works out well with the CQ Worldwide SSB Contest happening that weekend, which will bring lots of participation from stations worldwide. The plan is to start things off with a few days operating as NP2R from the US Virgin Islands (October 20-22); allowing the team to test equipment before moving over to the British Virgin Islands for the main VP2VRX operation during the contest (October 23-28). They'll be running multiple stations simultaneously during the contest. Outside the contest, the operators will each be active as VP2V/HOMECALL on various modes/bands.
