Why no 6M Activity from Antarctica

The only and last contacts with the Antarctic Continent, peninsula or Mainland ( not islands) are becoming very outdated mid cycle 25.
To the best of my knowledge and feel free to update with comments, the last contacts with the mainland were as follows in descending order.

CT1EEB Europe to the Russian Antarctic Base date unknown but post 2000
    PY5CC to LU1 patagonia Antarctic Peninsula 1998
VK1,2,3,5 to VK0IX Casey Base over summer of 1995

    VK3LK VK3OT and VK5NC December 1993 with VK0AQ Mark at Casey Base.
    VK3LK 4BLK and 5NC are SK.

    But that's about it.

many bases are manned but not even one wspr service except for recent operations by a VK0 @ Davis on 50.293.

maybe we can ooen up this forum to try to motivate the Antarctic ops to switch bands during cycle 25?

a wire antenna works just fine

vk0 to vk was initialised using a vee beam laid on the ice.
