Terms and conditions
The days of activity in support of the XV International Ecological Action "To Save and Preserve" on
the topic "Man and Nature".
In May and June, the regional branch of the Russian Radio Amateurs Union of the Khanty-
Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra in cooperation with the government of the Okrug organizes the
days of activity dedicated to the XV International Ecological Action "To Save and Preserve" and
invites radio amateurs from all around the world to participate.
1. Terms
Start date: 07:00 UTC May 19, 2017
End date: 18:59 UTC June 9, 2017.
2. General Provisions
2.1 The main goal of the days of activity is to attract the world radio amateur community to the
issues of rational nature management, environmental protection and ensuring environmental
safety.
2.2. During the days of activity, 11 special amateur radio stations on the territory of the Khanty-
Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra will be on air.
2.3. A special award program is designed to reward the most active participants of the action.
2.4. At the end of the days of activity, all participants will receive QSL- cards.
2.5. The organisation and coordination of the special stations work, have control over the
manufacture and dispatch of QSL cards as well as the issuance of awards is carried out by the
council of the regional branch of SRR in KhMAO-Ugra.
3. Award program
The award program "To Save and Preserve" includes a basic award and a plaque. Awards are given
for QSO / SWL with special radio stations on the days of activity from May 19 to June 9, 2017.
You can score:
Two-way QSO / SWL, made on any amateur HF bands, any kind of mode (CW, PHONE, DIGI).
Repeated QSO / SWL on different bands, and on the same band by different modes - CW,
SSB, DIGI (all digital modes score as one type of work).
Scoring:
For QSO / SWL with a special station R15UGRA - 15 points.
For QSO / SWL with special stations (Call sign-QTH):
R15JHM - Khanty-Mansiysk;
R15JNV - Nizhnevartovsk;
R15JSU - Surgut;
R15JNG - Nyagan;
R15JRA - Raduzhny;
R15JLA - Langepas;
R15JMG - Megion;
R15JSV - Sovietsky;
R15JIG - Igrim;
R15JGP - Gornopravdinsk - 10 points.
For QSO / SWL with other amateur radio stations of Khanty-Mansiysk AO-Ugra - 2 points.
Points of the radio amateurs from North and South America, Africa, Australia and Oceania are
multiplied by 2.
To obtain the basic award, you need to score 115 points. The QSO/SWL with a special station
R15UGRA is obligatory for receiving the award.
To receive the plaque "Save and Preserve" you need to score 345 points. It is mandatory to make
QSO/SWL with ALL special stations (altogether 11 stations) for receiving the plaque.
Five radio amateurs, who score the highest points at the end of days of activity, will be awarded
special prizes from the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug-Yugra government. SWL cannot participate in this
contest.
Checking the connections for the award and the plaque is carried out on the specially created
section http://r9j.hamlog.ru.
The basic award is issued in electronic form, free of charge, automatically and only on the basis of
the downloaded log to the service hamlog.ru.
The price of a plaque with transfer:
For radio amateurs in Russia - 1800 rubles;
For radio amateurs from other countries - 47 USD or 42 EUR (it is possible to pay in rubles at
the exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the dispatch day). Send
