World Amateur Radio Day (WARD), celebrated every April 18, commemorates the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) in 1925. We celebrate the constant contribution of radio amateurs to the society.
During April 17th and 18th, 2021, the Ecuador DX Club members will be actively transmitting, in all bands and amateur radio modes with the SPECIAL CALL SIGN HD1DX and HD2DX, from 23:59:00 UTC on Saturday 17th at 23:59 UTC on Sunday, April 18th.
Those who participate in this SPECIAL EVENT will be awarded the World Amateur Radio Day commemorative diploma.
