BASES OF THE PABLO RUIZ PICASSO MEMORIAL AWARD
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the death of our distinguished painter Pablo Ruiz Picasso (10/25/1881 - 04/08/1973), we will remember him with special call signs: of the inaugurations of his Museum, house museum and his whole legacy.
Objective:
Contact the three special stations, on as many bands as possible. Scope: International.
Date:
From 06:00 UTC on April the 1st, until 20:00 UTC on April the 10th, 2023. Bands: 10, 15, 20, 20, 40 and 80 m in the segments recommended by the IARU.
Modes:
SSB, CW and MGM.
Participants:
Any radio amateur with an official license.
Call:
CQ 50th Anniversary Pablo Picasso Memorial.
Call signs:
EG20MPM: Anniversary of the inauguration of the Pablo Picasso Museum, Malaga.
EG35MCN: Anniversary opening of the Pablo Picasso Birthplace, Malaga.
AO50LPP: The whole legacy of Pablo Picasso . Anniversary of his death 04/08/1973 Mougin/France.
Valid contacts:
One per band and mode with each special station.
Awards:
BRONZE: Contact the three special stations on 1 band.
SILVER: Contact the three special stations on 2 bands.
GOLD: Contact the three special stations on 3 bands.
PLATINUM: Contact the three special stations on 4 bands.
The special station AO50LPP will be on air from 00:00 UTC on the 8th of April until 22:00 UTC on the 10th of April.
Trophies:
EA Special Trophy:
To the EA station with the most QSOs (to be defined).
Special DX Trophy:
To the DX station with the most QSOs (still to be defined).
In case of a tie, the prize will be raffled among the stations with the highest number of QSOs.
(ONLY ONE QSO PER BAND AND MODE IS VALID).
Notes:
Participation in this Award obliges to behave in a sporting manner and implies acceptance of the rules.
