Tribute to the singer Nino Bravo on the 50th anniversary of his death and on the occasion of the declaration of the year 2023 as the year dedicated to the artist, which is precisely published by the Official Gazette of the Generalitat (DOGV). 2023 declared 'Nino Bravo Year' The plenary session of the Valencian Government agreed on Friday, February 3, to declare 2023 as the Nino Bravo Year, on the 50th anniversary of his death, in recognition of his person and the artistic career of he. The figure of Nino Bravo has left an indelible mark on the life of the Valencian people since that fateful Monday in 1973, the car driven by Luis Manuel Ferry Llopis, as Nino Bravo was actually called, skidded on a curve and went off the N-III highway at kilometer 95, in the municipality of Villarrubio, province of Cuenca. After receiving first aid, he was urgently transferred to the Francisco Franco Sanitary City (today the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital), where the singer ceased to exist moments later, around half past ten on the morning of April 16.
