ORGANIZATION
The GIJON SKY FEST AWARD 2023 is organized by the Gijon Amateur Radio Union (URG), EA1URG.
DURATION
From 00 UTC hours on July 15 to 24 UTC hours on July 23, 2023.
PARTICIPANTS
All radio amateurs with a valid license
DEVELOPMENT
The URG will put several stations/operators on air with the special badge EG23FDC , on the occasion of the international air festival and various activities related to or carried out through the sky, thus integrating into the Gijón Sky Festival in 2023
OBJECTIVE
Participants must contact the special station EG23FDC in the greatest number of bands and modes of transmission possible. Only one QSO per band and/or mode will be counted, so please do not repeat the QSOs in the same band and mode during the development of the award.
AWARDS
Participants with at least 5 QSOs with the EG23FDC special station in a different BAND and/or MODE will obtain the BRONZE award.
Participants with at least 10 QSOs with the special station EG23FDC in a different BAND and/or MODE will obtain the SILVER award.
Participants with at least 15 QSOs with the EG23FDC special station in a different BAND and/or MODE will obtain the GOLD award.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in a different BAND and/or MODE with the special station EG23FDC , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as ABSOLUTE champion.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in different BANDS, in the FONIA modes (FM and SSB) with the special station EG23FDC , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as FONIA champion.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in different BAND in the TELEGRAPHY mode (CW) with the special station EG23FDC , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as TELEGRAPHY champion.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in different BAND in DIGITAL modes (FT8, RTTY, PSK31, etc ...) with the special station EG23FDC , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as MGM champion.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in different BAND and/or low power MODE (/QRP) with the special station EG23FDC , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as QRP champion.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in different BAND with low power (/QRP) and in the FONIA modes (FM and SSB) with the EG23FDC stations , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as QRP FONIA champion.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in different BAND with low power (/QRP) and in the TELEGRAPHY mode (CW) with the EG23FDC stations , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as QRP CW champion.
The participant who obtains the highest number of QSOs in different BAND in low power (/QRP) and in DIGITAL modes (FT8, RTTY, PSK31, etc ...) with the EG23FDC stations , will obtain a special award that will accredit him as QRP MGM champion. .
The classifications distinguished between Spanish stations and not Spanish stations.
In the event of a tie, the station that has obtained the highest number of QSOs first will be proclaimed champion of each category.
SWL stations will be taken into consideration, granting a special award to those stations that accredit having listened to the greatest number of QSO's in different BAND and/or MODE between the participants and the EG23FDC station . To do this, they must send their LOG with the data of each QSO to ea1urg@gmail.com and with the subject Fiesta del cielo, SWL .
CONFIRMATIONS
All QSO confirmations will be done electronically through LOTW, e-QSL and GDURE .
PLATFORM
On the gijonfiestadelcielo.ure.es it will be possible to download each award, as well as keep a detailed follow-up of the QSO records and classifications.
