    R90BAK - Bryansk - Russia

    Regulations of the diploma

"90 years of the Bryansk Aviation and Sports club DOSAAF of Russia"

The diploma "90 years of the Bryansk DOSAAF Aviation and Sports Club of Russia" was established by the primary organization of DOSAAF radio amateurs in the Bryansk region in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the formation of the DOSAAF Aero Club in Bryansk.

The Bryansk Aviation and Sports Club DOSAAF of Russia has its origins since 1932, when a glider station with a single UP-4 glider was opened in Bezhitsa on the basis of the Krasny Profintern plant, on which the young men of the city took their first steps in aviation. On the basis of the station, the creation of the Bezhitsky Aero Club began on 20th October, 1933, and in the same year, U-2 training aircraft arrived at the airfield near the village of Bordovichi on the northwestern outskirts of Bezhitsa (now the Bryansk region) and а new aero club was quickly staffed with flight instructors and technical staff.

The number of graduates of the Bezhitsky and Bryansk aero club (21 students) were worthy of the title «Hero of the Soviet Union» for their courage and heroism during the Second World War. Such heroes of the Soviet Union, our aviators, as Sergey Azarov, Mikhail Afanasyev, Vadim Buzinov, Vadim Evgrafov, Grigory Mikheev, Egor Novikov, Anatoly Morozov, Mikhail Plotkin, Sergey Polyakov, Igor Sereda, Boris Khlud, Antonina Khudyakova and others glorified their native region (Bryansk region), their Homeland for many years.

P.M. Kamozin graduated from the Bezhitsky Aero Club and went to a military flight school in 1934. The aero club was transformed into an aviation sports club in February 1964. In 1981 it was decided to start preparations for the training of athletes-aviators of the special aircraft (Yak-52).

According to the results of the socialist competition among the educational organizations of the DOSAAF region, the club took secondly place in the actual competitions in 1985. The club was awarded the special efficiency pennant and the diploma of the 2nd degree of the Regional Council of the Prof, the regional committees of DOSAAF and Komsomol. According to the results of training specialists for the Army Forces, the club won 1st place and the winners were awarded diplomas, medals and challenge cup of DOSAAF.

During the competitions (Russian Championship in Aerobatics) in St. Petersburg in August 1995, the club team took the second place. Our flight commander S.P. Lapko became a Russian aerobatic champion and our professional instructor pilot A.A. Fedin became the overall champion of Russia in aerobatics and became the owner of the Cup of P.N. Nesterova.

In 2008 during all-Russian competitions on the Cup of V. Chkalov (The Governor’s Cup of the Nizhny Novgorod region in airplane sports) D.R. Kalmykov (the graduate of the Bryansk DOSAAF), took second place in the all-around program, Yak League-52. S.P. Lapko is his instructor of aerobatics. Over the years, hundreds of thousands of aviators and athletes have been trained there: 26 heroes of the Soviet Union and Russia, 68 Masters of Sports of the USSR and the Russian Federation, 14 International Masters of Sports of the USSR and the Russian Federation, 2 Honored Masters of Sports of Russia, 1 Honored Coach of the Russian Federation.
