55th Anniversary of "Diplom Interessen Gruppe"
Rules Diploma - DIG 55 by DQ55DIG
This short-term diploma is issued on the occasion of the 55th birthday of the DIG – “Diplom Interessen Gruppe”.
To qualify for the Anniversary Diploma, participants must work or hear 55 DIG members in 5 DXCC areas. The special station DQ55DIG is mandatory. In addition, the DIG Rundspruch (weekly DIG-Net) must be confirmed five times at the corresponding control station in ZAP traffic. If this is not possible, DQ55DIG can be used as a joker in further different band/mode combination. Operation mode is admitting in Phone/CW/Digital. Normally the DIG Net is read weekly:
Wednesday Evening at 6:00 p.m. UTC on 3557 kHz CW (pre-logging from 5:15 p.m. UTC), sorry, not possible at the moment; and Thursday Evening at 6:00 p.m. UTC on 3779 kHz SSB (pre-logging from 5:15 p.m. UTC). For application, the worked stations must be listed in the logbook in ascending membership number. The diploma is only issued as a PDF file and is free of charge. The diploma manager is Karlfried Henrichs, DL1EK. Diploma applications should be sent to dl1ek@darc.de. All contacts from January 1st, 2024 to December 31, 2024 are eligible.
The application deadline is March 31, 2025.
