GPDX - PORTUGUESE DX GROUP 30th ANNIVERSARY AWARD

PURPOSE
To commemorate the 30th Anniversary of GPDX - PORTUGUESE DX CLUB, that will be held in May 2024
Award Start / End Dates
The Award will start on May 01, 2024 (00:00 UTC) and ends on May 31, 2024 (23.59 UTC).
STATIONS
Three special event stations will be active , CS2GPDX (Continental Portugal) , CR2GPDX (Azores) and CR3GPDX (Madeira Island) representing GPDX-PORTUGUESE DX GROUP , and operated exclusively by GPDX members. Below we will refer as 'special event stations' meaning CR2GPDX or CS2GPDX or CR3GPDX.
MODES
SSB, CW , FT8, FT4 and RTTY
BANDS
HF , except 160 m, according to the IARU Band Plan
SCORES - Pontuação
Number of QSOs.
QSO Accreditation
Trophies - to be eligible to obtain one Trophy for each special event station , a minimum of 15 QSOs are required (any band/mode) with CS2GPDX, 15 QSOs with CR2GPDX and 10 QSOs with CR3GPDX. No dupe QSOs in same band and same mode . However it is allowed to work the same special event station in the same band but different mode.
Gold Award – minimum of 12 QSOs with CS2GPDX , 12 QSos with CR2GPDX and 10 QSOs with CR3GPDX. No dupe QSOs in same band and same mode. However it is allowed to work the same special event station in same band but different mode.
Silver Award – minimum of 10 QSOs with CS2GPDX, 10 QSOs with CR2GPDX and 8 QSOs with CR3GPDX. No dupe QSOs in same band and same mode. However it is allowed to work the same special event station in same band but different mode.
Brass Award – minimum of 8 QSOs with CS2GPDX, 8 QSOs with CR2GPDX and 6 QSOs with CR3GPDX . No dupe QSOs in same band and same mode. However it is allowed to work the same special event station in same band but different mode.
As an example: To be eligible for one Trophy attributable to QSOs with station CR2GPDX , one participant should perform a minimum of 15 QSOs with CR2GPDX plus 15 QSOs with CS2GPDX, as an example, cannot repeat QSO on 20m/CW, however can make another QSO on 20m/FT8 or 20m/SSB, etc.
REPORTS
Each special event GPDX station will exchange the RST report as usual. (R/S in SSB , R/S/T for CW and SNR for DIGI)
CATEGORIES - Categorias
There are 4 categories:
DIGITAL - FT8/FT4/RTTY , SSB , CW , MIXED (ALL MODES)
At the end of the competition, the winner of the EACH category, trophy or award - and only if that station is winning more than one trophy or award - will be contacted to choose which - trophy or award - he wants to be awarded. The second in the standings will automatically move to first place as the winner of that category/trophy/award. In the event of a tie, the participant that had reached the score sooner will be awarded.
LOGS
Logs are not accepted, and not needed, as rankings are managed by the HAMAWARD platform https://hamaward.cloud/ that automatically generates scores and rankings.
