I am looking for advice as to how I can use my 18 foot x 3 inch Copper Flagpole as my antenna.
I have been away from Code for a long while and as I haven't forgotten or lost my speed, I have forgotten my basic antenna wiring.
How do I utilize my copper Flagpole as my antenna? I guess I'm asking for wiring instructions that can be sent up the inside of the pole, if possible.
I use an old but very clear Hammerlund 170 to listen and a simple attic wire antenna now. I am looking for a transceiver now (all suggestions accepted). But as you may tell, I'm bare bones, antique and love the aspect of using this equipment, even though it may be hard. I guess it's the challenge and thrill.
