Update April 24 - 2023 Hi, We hereby confirm that members of Belgium DX Club FOTA (fota.events) are activating 3 volcanoes between May 2 and May 30. Stromboli (Eolian Island) ID9/OP8L, Etna on Sicily IT9/OP8L and Vesuvius I8/OP8L (Naples). All activations will be logged on different QRZ com logbooks on activation day and uploaded to LOTW upon return. Multiple operators will be active. We will be opearting in SSB with approx. 35 Watt with YAESU FTDX10 battery powered by ECOFLOW DELTA 2 and using a small YAESU ATAS-25 Mobile/Portable vertical antenna. We will also be operating QRP, 5 Watt with Icom IC-705 in FT8. A special triple gatefold QSL limited to 250 pieces will be available through direct mail for those who worked all 3 stations.
