Radio Amateurs members of Invicta Contest Group will be active as M5IC from Margate, England.
Information from qrz.com
M5IC is the callsign of the Invicta Contest Group.

The ICG is an affiliation of amateurs from the county of Kent (& further afield) whose local clubs do not or cannot contest.

The group has grown from a group of amateurs from the Maidstone Wireless Society (whose call we previously borrowed to contest under, G3WM), the Hilderstone Radio Society & other Kent clubs.

Previously we have operated from various sites in Kent including Capel Battery Folkstone, Scout Campsites & now we operate from a site near Faversham, where we can use QRO kit, big antennas & tall masts not normally suited to an urban garden plot!

The group is mainly focused on RSGB sponsored contests, VHF & up, but resources & interest allowing, we will also dabble on HF. Some members also support the group by participating in the RSGB UKAC contests from home.

We look forward to working you in contest, or if local & interested we offer a warm welcome to operators of whatever skill level, or none! We focus on having fun, not taking ourselves too seriously, enjoyment is the aim. It will also help if your name is ‘Ian’…. the most common name in the group!
