    CQ WW 160m CW Contest - 2025

CQ WW 160m CW Contest will start in a week.
I think it should be quite interesting although there is an opinion that in the period of maximum solar activity passing on 160m is not the best with which I honestly do not agree.
In my experience there may be some interesting surprises.
Unfortunately not many activities are announced.
The most interesting one in my opinion is IG9/S51V https://dxnews.com/forum/forum/conte...s51v-lampedusa.
Let's see what this team can achieve.
They are located of course in Europe practically, so they should have a lot of Europe, which is very important in this test and with Asia should be in principle not bad question remains with the United States.
Speaking of CQ WW 160m Contest I can certainly not forget the antenna UA9BA on 160m, which was realized on UA2FW.
This is probably the best antenna that was used in CQ WW 160m.

It is a pity this antenna is no longer there and it is unlikely that it will be, although who knows who with Vladimir's help may repeat it.

I think one of the front runners will also be P40AA
I think he will fight for a new world record in the Assisted category.
