The International WSPR Beacon Project announce there will be new WSPR beacon will be added to global network and that will be ZD9SSS from Gough Island.
The transmitter arrived on Gough Island, however antenna has not arrived yet and is expected to arrive soon>
South African National Space Agency , SANSA, employees will be involved in the installation because there are no Amateur Radio operators are expected to be on Island.
Gough Island, ZD9 is only 1000km from Bouvet Island.
New beacon can help identify propagation paths to Bouvet Island.
