Hello,
my name is Airon Ian de Riggs.
I was born on the island of Curaçao on the 27th of August 1976.
I started my radio career at the age of 12 with a 40ch CB radio.
Then came the famous Cobra 148GTL. This radio with extra frequencies and sidebands allowed me to reach more stations in more countries.
After years on the 11M band with 1000s of confirmed contacts, I decided it was time to move on.
Becoming a HAM operator was always a dream.
After studying for 2 years I took the test and failed. Went back in the books for 2 more years and retook the test.
Finally I became - PJ7AR
This opens up a new world of opportunities for me.
