I am staying with the family of Chege, 5Z4BU. This family (his wife, two children in school and one in college) lives a very basic life and needs a lot: no running water, not a single fridge, no washing machine, no electrical kettle or a microwave and the list is not complete. One can also hardly say they have more food than they need...

I see that the financial burden is not easy for him. The income part does not balance up what he needs to spend: daughter's college outstandig bank loan (80000 KSH = 600 USD), daughter's monthly room rent at college (6000 KSH = 45 USD), college every 3 month payment (43000 KSH = 323 USD), monthly shop electricity bill (2500 KSH = about 20 USD), his repair shop monthly rent payment (7000 KSH = 52 USD). And that is only a very rough idea...

If one feels like helping a family of a fellow ham, contact me and we will see what could be done for him and his family... I can still buy it for him while in Maralal...
