    I go by my nick name "TOBY". I got my first License in 1968 WN7LPL. I grew up in southern Oregon gradurated in 1973, Joined the Army in 1974. Was station at Ft. Lewis, WA. from 1975-1978, then transvered to Ft. Richardson, AK lived in the Anchaorage area intill 1989, moved to Nome from 1989 thru 1995. Retired from the US Army/Alaska Army National Guard in 1995. After my retirement moved back to Oregon lived in the Bend/Redmond area got my CDL then drove 18 wheelers in the 11 western states. My wife took a job in Homer, AK so we moved back up to Alaska in 1998, havent left sense. My shack consits of the following: YAESU FTDX10, ELECRAFT KAT500 antenna tuner and a ELECRAFT KPA 500 AMP, ICOM 718, FT-891w/ FC-50 as back-up base station, FT2900R VHF BASE, Anytone AT-578 VHF/UHV Analog/Digital/DMR Mobile (Base Radio) , My Mobile rigs are YAESU FT-891 HF and a YAESU FTM-7250DR VHF/UHF, and ANY TONE D878UV HT DMR, PALSTAR AT2KD, Antennas KIO HEX BEAM 10-20 Mtrs mounted up 30' on a ROHN tower, a ZERO-FIVE 6 THRU 80 METER GROUND PLANE VERTICAL (works very well on digital modes) mounted at 10', ALF-DX-80 cut to 75Mtrs as a INVERTED "V" at 36', an PALOMAR Off Center Fed Dipole Antenna, 40-6 Meters at 20', a COMET-NCG GP-9 VHF/UHF. I use WSJT-X and Fldigi, PSK-31, JT65, JT9, FT8 the new FT4 are fun modes to use. I use the following Logging program AC Log by N3FJP Works great. On the digital modes I only QSL on receipt of a RR73 or 73. I well respond to your QSO's by QRZ.com, eQSL, LoTW, I am the owner/Trustee of a BridgeCom BCR-40DU 440/70 cm Repeater, the Repeater Antenna is a Hustler Spiirit Model 430-450 Mhz UHF with 9DB gain, the repeater operates on 447.200 MHz with a minus (-5mhz) split, and 100hz input tone it is located out on the Homer Spit, Alaska, location is BO49JP "73"
