    Information from their QRZ page:
The Arctic Amateur Radio Club Inc.(AARC) is a non-profit corporation in the State of Alaska and is located in the community of Fairbanks. Established in the 1930’s, the AARC has historically been involved in using ham radio resources in support of community affairs, emergency services and special events. We operate an "open" state-wide repeater system together with an ever-expanding APRS network covering many remote areas in interior Alaska. Our very popular Short Circuit Newsletter is always available on-line at our web site. The AARC offers Free Ham License Exams on the First Saturday of the month at Noel Wien Library at 1pm.

Our club is proud of the fact that we are Alaska's First Amateur Radio Club, formed in 1939 and incorporated in 1966. Today there are over 150 members and associated members. We meet at 7:00 pm on the first Friday of the month at the Hutchison Career Center - 3750 Geist Road in room 202. All interested persons, visiting hams and guests are invited to attend.

KL1JP is now managing our QSL's. Please send paper QSLs direct to KL1JP (see the KL1JP QRZ page) or via the bureau. US hams: QSL requests without SASE will be returned via the bureau. We will now send out bureau QSLs through GlobalQSL about once every two months. We are now eQSL, LoTW and Clublog enabled and will quickly respond to any electronic QSL's. Only logged call signs are eligible for a QSL card.
