From 30. april to 4. May 2024 I will be operating as JW/LB4MI attempting to activate SOTA and POTA at Svalbard. I will be operating CW. The operation will be together with Knut JW9DSA (SSB) (which had the idea and planning for this trip) and Bjørnar JW5WUA (who has helped alot with planning). Hopefully we will be joined by other local ham's also.
When not activating SOTA or POTA, I will be QRV from club station (JW5E) mainly chasing SOTA/POTA activations.
As conditions at outdoor QTH's might change rapidly with regards to weather or other unexpected events, please expect some QRX or sudden QRT without announcements. We need to do shifts with icebear lookout during activations, using one operator...
I will be operating split, starting 1 up and spreading 1-3 up depending on pileup. CW speed 16-17 WPM.
NO JW PAPER QSL FOR THIS ACTIVITY, ONLY DIGITAL including Clublog, QRZ and LOTW. Received buro QSL cards will be replied with standard LB4MI QSL card.
