He will operate on 20, 15, 12, 10m and also QO-100 satellite.

Ascension Island ranks number 125 on Club Log’s DXCC Most Wanted List. In May of this year WB4GHY, Steve, was active for a few hours as ZD8SC. Otherwise there has been no other activity from ZD8 this year.

Monday Gerry emailed to say he was in Georgetown, Ascension Island on his way home from the Falkland Islands (VP8DPD). While on the island he will be working his day job but plans to be QRV as ZD8GB later today, also on the 14th, 15th and part of the 17th (not the 16th). This is not a DXpedition. Please no email QSO requests!

HF plans could include activity “mainly FT8” using an FT-857D and ATAS 120 for 10, 12, 15 and 17 meters. He will also try QO-100 satellite on SSB running 4 watts into a 60 cm dish. QSL via LoTW, eQSL and paper confirmations via EA5GL.
